Teenage girl dies due to excessive consumption of fast food; AIIMS doctor say her intestines got tangled

A tragic incident has come to light from the Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh, where a 16-year-old Class 11 student lost her life due to excessive consumption of fast food. The victim, Ahana, a resident of the Afghan locality, was reportedly addicted to junk food like chowmein, burgers, and pizza, often refusing home-cooked meals. Her persistent habit eventually led to severe health complications that her family was unable to curb despite their concerns.

The situation took a dire turn when Ahana complained of excruciating stomach pain and was rushed to a private hospital in Moradabad. Medical examinations revealed a horrifying reality: her intestines had developed multiple perforations and had stuck together due to the long-term consumption of processed foods. Doctors performed an emergency surgery on November 30, and she was initially discharged after showing signs of recovery, though she remained physically weak.

However, her health deteriorated rapidly just four days ago. Her family rushed her to AIIMS in Delhi as the pain returned with greater intensity. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, Ahana’s condition became critical once again on December 21, and she breathed her last during treatment. Doctors confirmed that the primary cause of death was the irreparable damage to her digestive system caused by the high intake of synthetic ingredients and preservatives found in street food.
